What we do

Orientation stage
We provide a reliable beachhead in Costa Rica and help the investor become orientated in the country. We help the investor by assisting him-her analyzes the state of the investment and clarify his or her position legally, as well as business wise.

We aid them by providing them with the experts that are needed, both here and in The Netherlands, and by advising them based on our experience. We follow up during the absence of the investor and provide the necessary feedback directly and through our associates in The Netherlands. Once we have clarified the situation our team provides the client with a proposed action plan that can include different scenarios and approaches. This plan explains the risks involved, the costs and the likely timeline.

We provide this service at cost and we do not charge any fees.

Action stage
If the investor wishes we are prepared to go ahead and execute the action plan as proposed. We will now act as the local representatives of our client and undertake the actions needed to achieve our goals on behalf of the client. This can range from negotiating the implementation of better supervision and controls to interceding and re-organizing the existing management; or even taking control over the investment entirely. We coordinate all activities and outsourced experts that are needed to achieve this.

We provide this service for a reasonable fee that covers our overhead plus the direct costs of outsourced experts.

Supervision stage
Once our client has achieved the level of control needed, we will oversee the project until our client feels that this is no longer needed. We help the client find suitable and reliable permanent staff that is cost effective, we hand the project over and in that way we conclude our involvement.
