Born 1962 in Amsterdam – The Netherlands.
Lives in Costa Rica since 1993 and is a resident of Costa Rica.

1995-1997
Represented US landowners in the southern zone. Negotiated with the minister of agriculture and secretary of IDA resulting in the withdrawal of an expropriation decree affecting the land. Negotiated a settlement with squatters claiming and living on the land.

1997-2003
Started as consultant for a small group of Dutch developers. Bought the land needed, oversaw design of infrastructure and obtained permits for the 100 hectare development.

Became the general manager for the company in 2000 and opened local offices and employed a staff of 35. Oversaw the construction of the infrastructure, entrance, villa, condos and townhouses. Implemented marketing & sales structure.

Total investment $8,000,000.-+

2003- 2005
Represents the Association of Investors in Playa Laguna, a group of 349 investors with a total investment of $12,000,000 + in a real estate project in Costa Rica.

Status: action stage

Represents the Association of investors “Teak Bestand” a group of 230 investors with a multimillion investment in teak bought through “Green Capital” an organization that no longer exists. Negotiated the take over of the project and re-organized the management of the project. Currently overseeing day to day management. The investors now own and control the project.

Status: supervision stage

Consults for the Association of investors in Vanilla with a $6,000,000+ investment in Costa Rica. Aiding the investors in clarifying their position and the state of their investment.

Status: orientation stage

Founded R&G SA; a consulting company overseeing home construction and initiating small real-estate development projects. www.rgprojects.com
